Our Story

Marine biodiversity is declining globally due to human activity, e.g. 50% of corals have disappeared, and 85% of oyster reefs are gone. At ReefCircular, our goal is to restore marine environments damaged by human activity and to increase marine biodiversity and the many benefits healthy ecosystems provide. Our designs are inspired by natural habitats and the species that live there, and our selection of materials is informed by science and their environmental impact. To ensure our artificial reefs are doing their job, we monitor them and gather data to document their impact on marine biodiversity.
